- The recording and the rehearsal for the album was plagued by amplifiers breaking. Both a bass and a guitar amp got fried in total, the latter prompted Oliver to solely focus on singing instead also playing guitar.
- The intro bassline for R.E.D came about when Oliver at a party tried playing Forty Six & 2 by Tool, and absolutley butchering it.
- Smell The Dirt was almost entirely written with just a thumb (except for the final breakdown) since Gunnar broke his hand, and couldn't use any other fingers.
- See The Light was the first original song Chaos In Control ever played together.
- The entire album was recorded in their rehearsal space, which also is a bakehouse from the 1800's.
